A very engaging aroma greeted the Panel presenting a wide variety which ranged from custard creams, melted butter, apricots and lime zest to baked apples and warm hay. On the palate neat a clean, zesty, minty flavour at first before tropical fruits arrived in the form of mango and pineapple while in the finish a golden syrup sponge cake.

Water added sun, sea and sangria, red wine, Spanish brandy, sparkling water, cinnamon and plenty of sweet fruits while we had to be quick to taste as the pistachio ice cream was melting fast and to describe it in the words of George Gershwin, “Summertime and the living is easy.”
